I am an Independent Graphic Designer and Member of the Chartered Society of Designers.

I have a huge passion for graphic design, particularly brand identity design. Over the last 30 years, I have loved working with brands to achieve a consistent visual identity across all their marketing materials.

I am your design department, part of your team. I’ll produce a wide range of marketing materials while advising upon and policing your brand identity.

I work with new and established brands on their internal and external communications, and as part of the team, I am perfect for those quick internal jobs that agencies take far too long to complete.

I caught the bug when I was 14 after winning an inter-school logo design competition in Milton Keynes. My winning logo was put on a t-shirt.

I was hooked!

I then spent my school holidays at advertising agencies making the tea and doing the odd bit of paste-up and PMT camera work. I remember when one of the agencies got their very first computer. Exciting times!

For me, graphic design is not just about how a company should look, it’s about WHY they should look like that.

Graphic design is about solving problems, visually engineering more sales for businesses.

Not just about drawing pretty pictures.

I have been working within design, print, advertising, and marketing agencies for over 30 years, which has given me a broad overview of all the processes needed to successfully market a business.

It has also enabled me to see the flaws of working within an agency.

By working directly with an experienced graphic designer, you no longer have to deal with an account manager. I AM your account manager! I AM the designer. The only person you have to deal with is me—every time.

I am available on a job-by-job basis or on a retainer for longer projects.

I have been involved in some pretty large projects: Management Buyouts, Mergers, and huge multisite rebrands. Some of these involved joining forces with the incumbent marketing team, others involved managing the process and budget for the client.
